Transformation starts with you
If there's something about your industry that keeps you up at night. Something that you sense or know needs to be changed, I'd like to connect with you.
Leadership Worth Living
Several years ago, I recognized the fact that I had a gift of leadership. But having a gift isn't enough - the world is full of both gifted under performers, and gifted selfish people.
I wanted to develop my gift so I could make a bigger impact, and I realized that I needed three things:
First, I needed to know my purpose - how I could apply my gift to really make a difference for myself and others.
Then, I needed to grow my gift. Growing my businesses in a constantly changing global market gives me the opportunity to continually overcome new challenges and grow my leadership capacity.
Lastly, I needed friends. I needed other "10-talent leaders" to learn from, so I could accomplish my professional goals and still be true to myself and my love of family and relationships.
This blog is a place where I can share what I'm learning and connect with other leaders, perhaps like you!
Jeff's Journey
Most entrepreneurs start by chasing success - measured by what they achieve. As enjoyable as success is, they often discover something is missing from that sole pursuit.
Some make the shift to chase significance - measuring success by what they give. They donate to charities, serve non-profits, and give back to their community. This pursuit is far more fulfilling and also creates meaningful relationships.
Transformational leaders however, don't just want to participate in other's good work. They want to see their industries transformed and through their business, make a significant positive impact on society.
They double down on their business because they know they can make a bigger difference, and they are passionate about raising the next generation to carry on their transformational cause.
"The measure of a business isn't how big or profitable it is. There are lots of big empty companies. It's how innovative and transformational it is, and how it brings lasting positive change."
- Dr. John C Maxwell
"Sadly, most successful people never learn the difference between more and enough, so they spend their life chasing more, and they never have enough."
- unknown
"Live a life of extravagent generosity and you won't be able to stop God's blessings.
-Â Jeff Williams
